Prescott Creeks HelpDesk
Prescott Creeks is a non-profit environmental organization in Prescott, Arizona. They work to improve water quality and riparian habitat in the upper Granite Creek Watershed through implementing programs and projects that connect local citizens with creek restoration.
As Prescott Creeks' Webmaster, Nathaniel Hoag was tasked with identifying a HelpDesk solution to enable staff to efficiently document and communicate technical and administrative issues. Through investigating various Support Ticket systems, Nathaniel quickly realized that the best option for Prescott Creeks was a custom Drupal configuration.
Making heavy use of the Rules and Token modules, the Prescott Creeks HelpDesk features an automated emailing system that alerts HelpDesk users and Ticket Managers to updates within their given scope of activity. Users get updates on the status of their personal tickets, while Managers get updates on all tickets within their particular area of focus.
