i18n and Salesforce Integration
We recently upgraded Prescott Creeks' PayPal account to Website Payments Pro, which has proven to be a significant benefit to the organization. It's enabled us to streamline the website payment system, consolidate our credit card processing, and reduce our monthly expenses. We're still finalizing our Ubercart integration for the new website, but should have everything lined up for "go-live" by the end of August.
A complexity we're facing is integrating Prescott Creeks' new website with WaterGrass, a Salesforce distribution for river and watershed organizations. There are Drupal contrib modules in place that get us most of the way there. The biggest limitation is with mapping fields between the two systems using the Drupal Salesforce module. The module's Salesforce field mapping is currently static, and doesn't allow enough flexibility to capture all of the data we require for our accounting and decision-making processes.
On another note, I successfully set up an automatic translation system at wohanwachipi.net. It's a closed site so I'm unable to share the joy of publishing content in 6+ languages simultaneously(!), but take my word that it's an awesome feeling.
